Hello all, i was playing around, then when i was going to put some water down i found that i couldnt do so, but when i walked around 20 metres north i found that i could place some water. please can someone tell me what is going on?
ps. i put the water on sand.

that is not true in my world my house is right on top of the spawn and i have a HUGE infinte water pool there...
Unless it came on the map that's weird. From everything I've read and playing yesterday I could not get it unless i walked 20-25 blocks away because it was supposed to be anti griefing.
