This honestly isn't much of a big deal in the long run, but when I get an achievement, especially one that grants you an avatar item, I freeze up for 2-3 seconds, leaving me to get blown up by all of the I'm fighting off with my bow (kill creeper with a bow achievement! yay new hat!). Needless to say i died and didn't make it back to my stuff, losing me my diamond tools XD. Obviously this can only occur a handful of times but it still kinda sucks.
