You know I have been wondering th same thing I have found a few mines but haven't came across a mineshaft yet may e they will add it in a future update...since the game just came out a few days ago it still has a lot of potential to be as good as the pc version
Yes they will update the game, supposedly the next version we are updating to is 1.7.3
