I'm trying to dye some of the other colored wool white. It requires Bone Meal and White wool, which in turn just takes away my bone meal and doing nothing with the other colored wool.. Is this a bug? Am I missing something?

Yeah I know, but I have a lot of bone meal, and other colored wool so I figured I would just dye them to save me the trouble.

Why is it in the game if it doesn't do anything?

Bonemeal can be used to instagrow wheat/trees/flowers on grass.
