When you hit start it seems like it doesn't really pause, time still passes and enemies still kill you. Same when you hit the Xbox button. Has anyone found a way to pause the game? Sometimes you need to answer the phone or whatever and don't want to run back to your shelter or exit the game.
Also, is there a way to check your coordinates like hitting f3 in the PC version?
The only use is to check how deep you are, but if your just starting a mine, just up from bedrock and ull be around where you want to be Elseways, just use the map
Cord's is a useless feature with only a 1000x1000 sized worlds, if you get lost, then you have a ****ed up bad directional sense... seriously, the worlds are super small, takes only 10 mins from one corner to the other... the worlds are WAY to small...
Hope it'll be increased soon, 1k x 1k just don't cut it... i never use the maps provided when i join the game, cause the worlds are so small i can memorize them... and i don't have a photographic memory or anything - in fact i got a VERY shitty memory, but seriously... cord's are only useful to see depth, if anything...
Sorry to be so aggravated by this, but COME ON!
THE WOLRDS ARE SMALL!!!
... So much for the feel of infinity ...
I don't think people really need the coordinates for when they are lost...I used them to see what level I was on without having to dig all the way to bedrock.
I am not going to sit here and complain until the cows come home about not having coordinates, (not saying anyone here is either), but I'm going to make do with what I have and dig to bedrock and count up.
Grab a stack and a half of sand/dirt/gravel and built to world max map height. The block you're standing on is y: 128. Count as you break the blocks. Once you've reached ground level, write down the number and build a small monument of some sort to mark the place so that you can easily find it. Now you have a spot in the world where you know what the ground level is. It shouldn't be too hard to keep track from there if you need to.

And I'm pretty sure there's no coordinates in the 360 version. But I don't see why you'd need it since you can just use the map.
You know the map is a craftable item right? Although it's a pain to craft sometimes, but you can still technically get a new one. lol
