So far, what was your best moment on the xbox live version of minecraft. Was it your first diamonds, an epic house, or others!!!!!
Found about 30 diamonds in about an hour of strip mining. Got a pickaxe, shovel, sword, and axe. ****ing awesome. Also me and some friends built a really big treehouse but then we all eventually ended up moving out. It was a really nice experience. Felt like real life. Went from having roommates to being all alone in a big empty house.

I can't figure out how to do the achievement get thing, so.... yeah
Me and my bud were in a cave, we had died so we quickly went down there post haste (we have a ladder connecting down to it and we know the mine very well) and I got all my stuff back equipped it, and as we were exploring, a skeleton was behind us. I was scared of dying with my low hearts so I jumped into the darkness. What I did not expect however, was two creepers, a spider, and a zombie attacking me from all angles.
I was digging in a spiral and found a cave and when I was looking around I found three Diamond. Later, I had made a Diamond pick and went to get obsidian I was mininig it and got to five peices. When I was minning this one peice there was lava next to me and I accidentally pressed B so my pick dropped into the the lava.... D: So I'm still looking for for more diamonds.
Not to be cynical, but my best moment was when the furnace actually didn't freeze my game up, but that was a short lived moment as the furnace didn't bother working at all after a few times, nor did the one after it, but the third one DID...
Other than that, my best moment was getting mad enough when I couldn't get the game working to go and obliterate the Tutorial world, and deface the giant floating MINECRAFT to MINECRAP and making a staircase to lure Creepers up to the sign and convince them to blow it up. Was it a largely futile and worthless gesture? Yes, it was nerd game rage at it's best, but it kept me going until I semi-got my game working again. Here's hoping that it stays that way.
It was when I first bought and started it up. I punched trees til I got enough supplies to make enough supplies to build a house, pickaxe, sword, shovel, chest, workbench. Then I went out looking for a sheep found a few got wool then went back to make a bed. But I forgot torches so when I went to bed a zombie found its way into my room, I killed it though. Basically I got like 5 acheivments within my first 10 minutes of playing, I felt like a beast =D...
When I got the idea to make a basement in my tower (which is on a massive land arch) with a glass floor so I can watch what is going on hundreds of feet below my home...then decided to branch out with all glass hallways through the surrounding rock and dirt out into the open sky.
I still get a little vertigo when I walk through it sometime!
The world I have been playing the most (honestly over 24 hours within the last few days) has had an average of 4 players on it at any given time (my buddy Beau and myself being on most often). And we have done a lot, too much to mention, from the awesome, to the hilarious. We have a pretty awesome little town going (I'l post a pic in a bit), and on a part of that town, that was getting hit quite often with creepers and the like, we set up some netherac. Set it ablaze and that really helped the creeper situation. But, where the real beauty shines with said netherack, is the fact that that same mountain top that produces creepers, and other hostile mobs, also supplies pigs, and those same pigs seem to love committing suicide, which then marvelously delivers cooked pork-chops to my front door quite frequently. Now whether you see the epicness in that or not, it doesn't really matter, the moment I found our hidden treasure from the netherack being on the roof, was a hilarious moment for all of us on the server...
For my next best moment, I would like to give some info on the players in this server. I myself have been playing minecraft sense late alpha, and believe I'm fairly knowledgeable on the game. Nearly everyone else I am playing with (besides one of my friends. who isn't quite as minecraft savvy as I, and hasn't put nearly the time into this server as I have) are popping their mincraft cherry with the XBLA version of minecraft, so I am the resident expert on all things minecraft on our little server. And there have been two separate occasions where I was making a big deal about what I was explaining, going into every little detail, up on my pedestal, and twice now I have been ninja'ed by creepers during said speech, which gave us all a nice laugh...
When realizing my underground house had coal in the wall, I quite literally face-palmed as I had no torches. After that, I began digging about quickly found about 16 blocks of iron in a close area, 4 diamonds, and some lava. After making the diamond pickaxe, and a bucket, I made some obsidian (just enough to make a Nether portal.)
So, yeah, my best was when I got 40G gamerscore with a pickaxe and a bucket of water.

MCX360 is out? Of course it is, I got it at 5 in the morning.
My brother and I built a nice house. One day we left the house to go and explore, but we forgot to shut the door. When we got back I entered the doorway and was face to face with a creeper. Let's just say I spent the rest of that day fixing the house.

Playing the 404 challenge earlier today, I went out of my base to get some flint. Right as I was about to go back, I heard a creeper behind me. I threw my sword at the ground like a retard, but managed to spin around and punch the creeper into a pool of lava right before it exploded. I felt pretty epic until 4 spiders attacked me at the same time and put me down to a half heart.
was banging on some drums (music boxes) with a friend and accidentally hit my friend. Immediately after that all his dogs came after me and killed me. I wish I could have taken a picture when I turned around and saw all the dogs leaping at me.
I was building a series of caves under my house and the caverns are about 2 to 3 blocks between another set of caverns and on day a creeper found his way down there and created a nice lil lobby where the caverns now meet
My friend and I were playing around, and while I was walking on the surface I heard a bunch of zombies down below. I dug down and found the spawner, but instead of deactivating It , I thought I would let my friend handle his first dungeon. I showed him the area, and he immediately jumped down, fell through a hole in the dungeon, and blew up. I went down to grab his stuff, but couldn't get it all. Then he came back and blew up once again trying to get the last of his stuff. 'Twas great.

my favorite moment was when i started a game, the moment the world loaded i remembered my days of 1.2 (when i started) and the features i loved that aren't there anymore

Still a credit to your ruse, what a beautiful excuse, To never open up your eyes and see the things you lose,
