4/5 - I absolutely love it, the only thing that really bugs me is the fact that there is no option to change the games brightness unless you fiddle with the gamma settings. The brightness slider wasn't added until 1.8 on PC but it's something that should have really been fast tracked into the game on release.
While 1.6.6 is miles apart from the current PC version, it feels right that the 360 version starts off where it is. This version of the game has brought a lot of new players into the Minecraft world, and it's important that they get familiar with the bare basics of it before new features like enchanting and brewing potions come in at a later stage. By the time all the new players have gotten used to how play the game efficiently, the things I have mentioned above will be starting to come out.
To those who are concerned about the map size, I've only explored about a 200x200 area of the map and I already have a nice sized house, a lot of diamonds, a half built nether portal, a dozen sets of iron armor and a lot of everything in between.
Overall I think it's well worth the 1600MP. I'd spend $20 for easily 100+ hours of game play with a tonne of replay value that never gets old any day of the week.
I feel the same way ... I am about 200x200 as well and I think I might've been overwhelmed had they put in all the features from the get go.
