they need to not make it manditory to have food...i like to just focuse on digging randomly rarly spend time up top so food is nill but i like to hunt from time to time i just dont want to feel like if i dont kill something before dark and get back to my hole im dead any way
I like the added challenge not having hunger gives to the game. With hunger, you are invincible if you are smart (and don't fall into lava), by carrying around stacks of food and keeping the bar filled, but without hunger the creeper gets it's power back
I like the extra dimension that hunger adds, its makes the game slightly more challenging. I think SMP needs a lot of work from an overall satisfaction stand point.
I didn't like the hunger system because it was "fun". I liked it because it was actually less stressful. With either system, you should be carrying some food, so it wasn't hard staying fed. Also, it was nice knowing I would heal automatically, instead of frantically trying to pull out some food in the middle of battle. Besides, the new system allowed for health potions in alchemy, so both healing options were available.
That being said, no hunger system isn't horrible, but I would rather have it, along with food stacking.

Yeah once the hunger is updated thats when chicken and cows get their meat.
That being said, no hunger system isn't horrible, but I would rather have it, along with food stacking.
