I'm trying to make a cake for the achievement, but there is a problem. There is literally no sugarcane anywhere, not even one. Has anyone else having this problem?
at first i couldt find any but i did find some 1 hour later keep looking. ps side note while looking for cane got lost and couldt find my house had to start over cause save didnt work
If you're just trying to make the cake to get an achievement you could just enter a seed such as Glacier which has sugarcane in predefined spots you could harvest, and only use that world to get the achievement then delete it

The irony of that, is that my world is using the seed glacier...lol
I found a few sugarcane at first, then I just planted it. I have like 10 stacks of it now.
Just place it down on a dirt block next to water, it'll grow and you can collect it and replant it and keep getting more.
Have you explored the whole map? I know it took me a while in my world to find cactus, I finally found some after spending a bit filling out my Map. Now I've made a cactus farm so I have tons(same thing I did with sugarcane)

how do you plant sugar cane
Harvest, & replant. Next to water of course. You can only plant them on dirt on the 360 version.

My friends and I have made our word on Glacier and there's tons of sugarcane.
