Minecraft on the xbox seems pretty fun. I downloaded the trial and was able to get hang of the controls quickly, and I diden't experience any minor/major bugs. I dont care what people say about split-screen, that you need an HDTV and a HDMI cable to play split-screen. I would mostly spend my time playing online with my friends and single player. Im not bothered that the maps are not infinate or that the version is 1.6.6. To wrap this thread up, I'm gonna say its worth it to pay $20 to buy Minecraft on a whole diffrent platform.
Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention but I also like the old world genration.
My friends won't get this game because they say it is the same as the PC and it's not worth $20 but really I think its worth it. It has a simpler multiplayer.
I know right , im nostalgia'ing hard every time I play.I love gravel beaches and the way all of the cliffs etc spawn.
Yeah. They could easily go back to that by adding more elevation differences in the worlds. And I did notice each biome seems to have a "hills" sub biome type thing. Like the last SP world I had I was on a jungle island that was actually called "Jungle Hills" and it was a pretty big biome. There was also a similar thing with a desert nearby. But it just wasn't the same as the pre-fractal world generation.

I'm usually not trying to be rude. So if a post comes across that way then sorry :]
I've only touched one disk for my xbox since purchasing this at 5:45 in the morning, May 9th, taught 7 people how to play, set up a farm, made some diamond tools, some leather armor, made some obsidian, and constructed the Nether portal.
In short, I enjoy the d*** thing so much, the only downer is no texture packs, definitely no mods, and preset skins.
I'm currently working on a way to compromise the fact that some people enjoy Survival without hunger, and my idea is a subforum like this.
Online Mode X

Under the PLAY button, we have World Sharing, Achievements, etc.
In World Sharing, you have a list of friends like:
Friend 1
Friend 2
Friend 3
It only displays friends with MCX360.
Say Friend 1 has a map you want, you press his name and it opens his stored maps file, allowing you to download the map to your saved files. The saves would be in alphabetical or seed number order. Preferably alphabetical because the numbers are usually long in the seeds.
Send feedback!
Yea, just finished this, and hoping it will be able to help with their hoped development of worldsharing.
Sorry if this is off-topic, but I really think this will make gameplay easier and world sharing concept easier to have if made.

Hey, I'm getting it tomorrow too! Maybe we can play sometime. It really does look spectacular, and it's going to be great for if you're lazy (like me) when it comes to making servers and all that.
