The attack range the mobs have in the 360 edition seems to be a lot larger than on the PC version. Creepers tend to explode at sword range rather than waiting to get within the usual one block range. Zombies and spiders are able to do damage to the player at sword range as well.
I have also noticed that is you are engaging a mob unable to attack back (Ex: With only its feet exposed) it will do no damage.
Is this part of the game design? Are we not supposed to engage mobs without getting hurt? Without regenerating health we need to be able to use our wits and increased range to fend off mobs safely.
