So does the minecraft multiplayer not work? I've checked numerous times to see if anyone has a game I could join but nothing. Are the servers working because it looks like a lot of people are playing the game, so a game should be available
This game does not have public servers as of now. The servers that will appear under the 'Join Game' section will only be the servers of the people on your friends list if they are currently online and don't have it set to 'invite only'.
I think their first focus is to further develop minecraft itself, with that i mean get 1.7 ready. After that they might try to change some other stuff.
