My mob spawner... HUGE and works like a dream... Stacks of arrows gunpowder and bones. Wven got a music disc
If you build it roughly 23 blocks high with a window for skeletons to see you... you can actually farm the discs. It seems you have to have the previous disc in inventory to get the next disc, so make sure to make a canal or something to get the discs out.
There are some other more elegant solutions with pits to trap the creepers and skeletons that are safer, but the drop trap works, too.
It's pretty simple. Make a stack of dirt. In this case I made a stack of 3. Place a fence post on the top block. Remove the block the fence is on, then place another fence post on the block below, and so on and so forth.
Thank you! I thought it might go a little something like that but haven't tried it yet.
You guys have amazing structures. Definitely an inspiration. I am a first time Minecrafter and for everything I discover, I build new stuff. Here is one of my first buildings, a floating house accessible only via the waterfalls. Nothing too special, but fun to build.
The start of a town
A waterfall that runs into a manor house I am building. I found that when I tried to place a block on top of one of the slabs, it would actually attach itself one spot up connected to waterfall. I followed that pattern for this thing.
I look forward to trying the great stuff you guys do.
^^^^^^= the entrance to our trainstation - yes it goes all the way down to bedrock
These are my two favourities of your screenshots (although they all looked good, just keeping my reply shorter). The lava tower and the staircase is cool and I like how deep and endless the tunnel appears. =)
The first few layers of an AWESOME sandcastle :3 oh btw you can upload pictures from the 360 edition to facebook. press start and then press Y it will take a snapshot which you can upload to facebook.
My Temple
Placed Glow Stones at the base of each pillar gave it a cool lighting effect.
I know the screenshot came out a bit dark.
Inside is a large statue made of obsidian with a chest at its feet for tribute
