The Black Castle i built out of obsidian. made in the Mojang seed. unfortunately, lost the save b4 i could take anymore shots, but was still a fun project to work on.
Why build houses, when you can grow them? Epic, epic treehouses, stretching from the ground into the clouds. To the very build limit, actually. They'll get no taller :-( Also, greatly fear someone getting the bright idea to start a fire O_O
I built treehouse on left, and a couple friends built the other two. I'll get more screens later from inside each one, but my server crashed out while saving the first photo and I can't be bothered to go back into it for now.
My house: Still a WIP of course, probably going to add on to the wooden platform and add a farm and tower.
My house - a Night shot
There still is no interior, thats what I'm going to do next, along with build a giant railway connecting all of the buildings in the world.
And lastly: My 6 dogs posing in front of my Nether portal: Winston, Benson, Bob, Snowflake(My niece named it :P) Jack and Jill in that order from left - Right.
I'll be sure to upload more when I've got the interior/tower done
I'm not much of a forum guy, but I do enjoy taking a look at other people's creations. Most of these are constructed beautifully and provide some good ideas for people to use. Myself, I've been playing this game nearly non-stop since the release date. I spent a big portion of my time playing on a friends world, then decided that I was going to create my own.
After about... 30 hours of work this is the start of something I plan on being huge:
Ignore the mess towards the bottom, it's just convenient to keep my chests and crafting tools close to me while I build. And the basis of towers on the left and right will be scrapped, moved and replaced with a better design. I'm probably looking at about 200+ hours of total work on this world if all the mining blocks, etc is included..
My Village that took about a weeks worth of time to complete.
The grand Entrance.
You can see the welcome center, tower, and one of the houses.
The boat at the dock.
And inside one of the houses.
Well, I have had the Xbox version of Minecraft for about a week and honestly, it has given me more enjoyment than two years of having the pc version. Here are some pics
First: A view of everything (almost) Left: MY friends very square house. Center Left: My dog kennel. Center Right:MY watchtower /current crafting and storage area. Right: MY first home which was a tower going up the side of the mountain.
Next, A view of things from the top of the watchtower.
The path to the kennel from the front of the watchtower.
Base of my first home. My bedroom is separated from everything else. To the right you can see my mine. There is always a minecart circling up and down to the mine so all i have to do I "Catch a Riiiide( I will give a diamond to anyone who can tell me where that quote is from)
A shot from the bottom of the stairs. View of the wood walls which took forever to dig out and make.
And finally...my DOORBELL. Lol its not very complicated but it works and sounds nice. You can see the bottom of the wood wall in the background.
a lil something nothing to great got a walkway in the sky connecting my house and one of my buddies. glass house for guests so i can make sure they aren't up to no good . and to my left is my rail that took ages to build and goes way higher into the sky.
Continuing work on what I hope will become the most ostentatious treehouse ever. For me, at least. I love building with trees. Adds an element of chaos to the whole process.
Night shot from the roof of a room on the second story level. For perspective, this is the view from the top of the bottom-most room you can barely see above the trees on the left in the first photo. Put this up just because I apparently took this shot, too.
inside the ghast is a secret castle.
