This place is awesome. Good job on the house. That Waterfall is beautiful. I recently just found one not quite a cool in my world, but I was wondering, was it like that when you found it or did you tinker with it a bit to make it look like that?

I wish i could show more because i have a lot more to show but im to my limit of 6 pics so ohh well. I built the whole thing completely by myself because i lag too much online and when im with friends we do other things so, it was pretty hard to build.
I built a mansion surrounded with a glass dome with a diameter of 64 blocks. I used 6000 glass blocks, almost 2000 wood, and put roughly 20 or so hours of work into it. Admittedly, I'm not done. I need to add a little bit of furnishing to the interior and build the bookcases for the library.
From the inside:
Not shown is an "airlock", a room that consists of two iron doors (one always open and one always closed) that prevents mobs from wandering into a door somebody might accidently leave open. It has 3 levers that each toggle the state of both doors simultaneously, independently of the other levers. This took two X-NOR gates and a good hour or so of wiring, but isn't pretty enough to look at for me to post a picture. It is, however, an amazingly awesome way to enter the dome (also the ONLY way to enter the dome).
Yeah I need some ideas as well. So just message me with some ideas please. I am asking you all for ideas. I got a big world and I got a mine slam smack in the middle of the ocean since I spent my time working on that. Please message with ideas for buildings. Thanks. The size of houses dont matter as long as its a good design.
Hmm. Lots of good screenshots here. This is definately one of my favorite threads to look at.
I'm building a wooden mansion at the moment, should take up around 2k wood/planks to build, and a few hundred glass. I'll post a screenshot once I get it finished.
I like the house with the crafting room. How did you build the couches?
I have never encountered slimes though, this is on the xbla minecraft, correct?
Not sure if you're referring to my house or not, mine was the post at the bottom of page 7. I didn't have a couch in the crafting room, but if you were referring to the couch in the living room I just made it out of wooden planks, stairs, and red wool. It looks closer to the ground because the rest of my floor is wooden slabs, giving the couch a more realistic height.

Took me about 4 hours over the course of 2 days.
My friend Tyler helped for about 30 minutes to help gather wool for the rest of the head.
I'm proud of it. And a lot of my friends have liked it.
