Both of these are amazing! One incredibly homey, the other a tower of death! Really good work, guys.

With all this nice work being posted, I guess I will have to post my Japanese Village from the Edo era. (Of course it is a WIP)

Been working on my domes since I last showed you guys. I actually fixed the smaller ones, so now they're proper domes. They used to be flat and unappealing. Anyway, here is the almost finished product:



As you can see, the large dome has been turned into a Bio-Dome. I put a forest biome in there. The other two domes are going to be turned into a snow biome and a desert biome. Here is a pic from the inside of the large dome:



Plus some shots of the domes from different locations:


The above picture also features my cabin.



I recently remodeled my castle. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of what it looked like before:



Then finally here is a picture of the path leading up to my cabin, pictured in the upper right:



Sorry for the long post! I got a lot done in the last few days, and I wanted to show it off.

Ok so after being inspired by the "Fastest Elevator" thread and watching a YouTube on how to make a mine cart elevator, I did it!


Here you can see my elevator stretching from ground level up to the arch my tower is built upon.



These two images show a better detail of the carts in their holders. All you have to do is look up at the bottom of the mine cart at the base, hold the left trigger (To "sit" in it) and you will "sit" in each one rapidly ascending to the top!


Finally here is a view from the top. You can see an additional cart on the left offset from the rest. This one allows you to exit without going back down.

To get down? Just stand in the top cart and you will fall through each one but without taking any damage! Now all I have to do is mine enough obsidian to rebuilt it in a more durable material!

Kind of hard to make out all the details in the dark, but the lighthouse is now functional!

Ahh. I sure as heck screwed up my world AGAIN. Fourth time in a row. I did everything until I got a Dispenser and Im trying to focus on building a nice dome but I got put in a good but not the right world. world seed: I seriously need help lol. Seed: 10110101

It's pretty simple. Make a stack of dirt. In this case I made a stack of 3. Place a fence post on the top block. Remove the block the fence is on, then place another fence post on the block below, and so on and so forth.
