Just a take on a modern house I built, what do you guys think?
That's pretty cool. It would look awesome if you'd add a sandstone (or some other block...) floor so it doesn't look like it's sitting flat on the dirt. I did a checkerboard with black and white wool once. Right now I'm on a world with a bunch of islands so I get to design a new beach house on each island. Woot!
P.S. I've gone so far as to put flowers and grass outside a house. If you put bone meal on the ground it makes grass (which you can knock down for the wheat seeds if you don't want it) and mostly yellow flowers.

Oh nice! I just started and ship and come to the realization that its difficult to the that curved look with the blocks so much props! I'm currently building a smaller ship, the 118 Wallypower super yacht which has been tricky.
I decided to build a 1:1 ratio of the Roman Colosseum. This structure is massive and I've been working on it for a few weeks. It's roughly 50% finished. The dimensions of the building is 188x156x48. Half of the land that the structure is built on is reclaimed from the sea and the other half was mountainous islands that had to be flattened which took awhile. This is my friend Aaron's tower that took him a week to make. He is currently making a land mark structure or village on each corner and side of the map, as diagramed below.

This is the structure on the east side of the map.
My world barely had any forest in it, so I decided to make a man-made forest. I didn't duplicate until I was finished around the gravel path and then got tired of farming saplings. My little sister helped me by running around with Bone-Meal and growing the trees:
Here are two quick shots of very tiny pieces of my world. I built the ship by myself but the rest was a team effort cr the great group of guys I build with MLG Weezy, TreyyD, Bloodmonkey85, ZB XY, and Nonstopsteam. The first picture is of our market district outside the castle walls (not showing that until it's done ) We have a pub (The bloated creeper), A church, a blacksmith (The smelted ore), a wool shop, an inn (The sleeping skeleton) and a bakery.
Next is my ship outside our fishing village.
Not pictured is our fishing village, Japanese castle area (complete with cherry blossom trees), the castle, 2 mob grinders (one hidden in a lighthouse),major port next to the castle, our nether island and nether transportation system, and our 32x 32x40 slime farm. If anyone wishes me to I will post up some pics of the rest or give you a tour. My Gt is Rushzer000
