Seed: Dark Star (like the greatful dead song) theres a spider spawn right near the lava pool(visible red dot on map, makes for a good landmark. Cave has like 6 iron coco beans no saddle though I dug near the lava pit to the bedrock spiral staircase and am getting quite afew slimes.
On my first world (an utterly boring, frozen wasteland) I found a skeleton spawner under my house, only about 10 blocks below sea level.On the next three worlds I didn't even find one despite exploring like a maniac. But on my current world I've found two already (one zombie, one skeleton). The skeleton spawner is inside a cave, literally right next to the exit to the surface. And that cave entrance is only seven (!!) blocks away from my home. That makes for the easiest mob grinder ever - stand at cave entrance during the day and lure them to you, run away from skeletons into house, watch them burning through window, collect items afterwards. =D
The zombie spawner is also quite close to my home, in another cave not even a minute of walking away. It's quite deep down, though, definitely far closer to bedrock than the sea level. And I messed up the lava-based grinder because the lava illuminates the spawner too much for the zombies to spawn. Going to rebuild it soon.
I'm also pretty sure that there have to be more mob spawners in that world. So far I've only travelled around the bottom right quarter of the map where I spawned and built my home.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
Currently at 7 spawners, 3 zombies, 2 spider, 1 skeleton, and 1 unknown. A friend had reported finding another but i have yet to check it out. I have one zombie dungeon near my spawn slightly buried, made it into a drowning trap. Then took it down, made a water elevator to bring them up to the surface so i can watch them die.
Yeah took me a while to find one. Decided to fill out my map and explore wound up founding 6 spawners through my world. Had to look in caves I found through the mountains in my world.
I found 9 total on my map all on accident, i don't know the seed so don't ask
if you are looking for them to make a trapyou can just make your own their pretty easy
i#ve only just started playing the seed "Glacier" .. haven;t even finished my first house yet so haven;t explored much .. i am cheating though am playing peaceful until i design my house
