i have an xbox but its unfair ps3 user's coz alot of people get it on console and ps3 users have to play it with a mouse
Well actually you can use the Xpadder application program to use your PS3 controller while connected to PC for minecraft, I know my buddy of mine was using that when the game was beta 1.7.3. Unfortunately PS3 has terrible ram and with this contract mojang and MS signed, seemed unlikely we'll see it. It's possible on vita but not sure though
There already are texture packs and skin mods, except they're only for jtagged consoles. If you have a jtag I'd be glad to help you install a texture pack.

I don't have a jtag and I think I will just wait for skins and texture packs in vanilla Minecraft.
they will be able to add them as free dlc or even paid (they wont do paid) because they dont have to use it as "modding" they can add it as a feature to the game.
I was watching this video and this guy took his downloaded minecraft mods off his computer on a flash drive and imported it to his xbox. Does this really work?
Texture Packs:
Custom texture kit may be available, but I do not believe that they will be able to be shared. Also, I do not believe that there will be texture packs that are already in-game on the PC, because then they would have to own the rights to the texture pack.
Mods:
More than likely a no. If so, they will be made by 4J and not the community and will be DLC.

More than likely not, the mods would have to be specifically programmed for the Xbox, because it does not follow any exact pattern of PC updates.
If they do decide and figure out how to do it i recomend that they add the "mo' creatures" mod and the "BALKON'S weapon" mod in as one of the first ones, and then the "Tekkit" mod, since they're some of the most popular mods, if i'm not mistaken.
Well i think that they will add texture packs but i know for a fact that they will not add mods for it because microsoft does not even let moding in the xbox comunity but i think that mojang will make some texture packs for the xbox and i think that they will make it about 100 microsoft points so thats honestly what i think.
I heard of the wiki that 4J was already planning texture packs for the game and working on it. Probably as charged DLC just like the skins.
And i think mods will possibly be brought in. I mean what is a mod. Will it still be a mod in 4J took some from the pc and brought it to the xbox to make it part of the game. Only way to make your own though is to mod your own xbox but if 4J does some modding that would not really be modding anymore otherwise all DLC would be considered modding. So just depends on who is doing these mods/DLC.

Lol... no. That would be a video made for the exclusive purpose of trolling the masses. You cannot alter mechanics of the game itself through soft modding. Even if you could, there are several other issues that would make this impossible.

Could you source that information for me then? I would like to put that in the post.
