If your console is under warrenty, send it to MS. If not, try sending it to a trusted xbox repairman with plenty of vouches(watch out! Always the possibility of a scam!) or send it to ms for a fee.
So, it is a huge coincidence that your xbox broke after you tried MCX360 lol.
Do you know a way i can fix it myself? I want to do it for cheap because i already have a ps3 which i use as my main system and dont use the xbox that often
1.Turn off your box
2.unplug it
3.wait about 15 mins
4.put a slightly warm rag or towel over it. !DO NOT WRAP IT IN IT!
5.let it sit till the towel is cool again.
6.plug it back in
7.turn it on
8.while it is turning on unplug the ethernet
9. it should work. thats how i fixed mine. mine had same problem.
10. if that doesnt work smash it with a hammer cause your SOL!!!

The smart thing to do would be to send your console back to Microsoft for repair/replacement.
What is rapping your Xbox in a warm towel going to do?
GUYS this is already solved, a person told him to take out his HDD and try, didnt work, then someone told him to google it, as it turns out, his Xbox died. this should be locked, alot of people arn't reading the post and keep on posting garbage.
This happened to me too, my xbox had been fine for YEARS no longer how long I played it, and the day I play this I get RROD? Coincidence my ****. This is total BS
Coincidence, your xbox decided to die right then. As far as i've noticed, the average lifespan of an xbox 360 is about a year.
Well, the lifespan also depends on several factors, I've had mine for 4 years now. The only problem I have with it is that the disc tray will occasionally get stuck, but nothing a few hits to the side won't fix. People tend to put their xbox in carpet (Which can limit airflow) or they tend to place it horizontally (Which can also limit airflow) I prefer to place my Xbox vertically though, Because I am very OCD about the power button facing right side up.

You can't unless you have the necessary equipment and experience to reflow/reball the parts.
