It froze once i started the minecraft menu and now it wont work. Im pretty sure that its the game, not me.
try the guys suggestion from a few posts back. You may have gotten a bad download from the server but many people aren't having issues with it. An isolated incident isn't cause for a "It corrupted my xbox" spam.
@blwolf
I got mine back when I moved to maryland in early '09 one of the old arcades. Not a single issue other than the disk drives band going which i replaced since it was out of warentee
Well, it first started off showing the system 79 error on the tv, then i removed the hard drive (error 79 = hard drive error) and it freezes in the bootup munu. I waited a day and now it has the three rings

E79 usually means a defective hard drive or a problem with the southbridge. Try giving us the secondary error code.
Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
* All four lights flashing - 0
* One light flashing - 1
* Two Lights flashing - 2
* Three lights flashing - 3
Mojang better pay for my new xbox because minecraft xbox 360 edition just corrupted my system. Now it keeps freezing in the startup. MOJANG YOU BETTER PAY ME $300 FOR A NEW XBOX BECAUSE IM PISSED!!!!!!
BRO SAME JUST MY MINECRAFT DESTROYING THE XBOX I CAN STILL PLAY IT BUT MINECRAFT YOU SUCK NOW
I didn't believe the OP, but I'm starting to think otherwise. I've never had any sign of issues with my Xbox, but as I documented in the bugs thread yesterday, I started having freezing and sound issues while playing the full version of Minecraft (immediately after the tutorial) for the first time. Today, I can't even get to the HDD to delete the game without my console freezing.
Factually incorrect. I'm still in ownership of my original Xbox 360 - Elite console, in which I have owned since two-thousand and seven.
@Atak_5,
I'm an Xbox Live Ambassador, meaning I'm a spokesperson oh behalf of Xbox Support. You have not left enough detail for myself to come to a conclusion regarding your issue, although I can 99.9% guarantee that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition did not cause the original problem. It is sounding more like a hardware failure than anything, although I do believe I've dealt with this matter before. In order for your issue to be resolved, I suggest you contact Xbox Support, and contact either an Xbox Live Ambassador and / or call Microsoft directly with the contact number provided. An Xbox Support worker will guide you through several task(s) in order to rectify the problem; if you issue is still unresolved, then you will be suggested to send your Xbox 360 console directly to Microsoft for a small fee (if console is no longer under warranty) and Microsoft will solve the issue, and of course return your console.
If you need any more help / information regarding the issue, feel free to contact me via e-mail... although I do ask that you private message me first asking for the e-mail address.
Or, instead of paying a "small" fee he could take easy steps to determine the problem him self, then if it needs a reflow, reball, etc send it to a REPUTABLE xbox repair shop online for cheap(and he'll get it back within 1/10th of the time)
Microsoft is the safest way because there's always a possibility of being scammed when you send your xbox to a private repair shop, but it's also the most inconvenient and expensive.
(PS. Sorry about repping you, mean't to hit quote)
lol worste i got in the game was my budd was split screenin with me and he got hit by a creeper and uheard the sound and the xbox when unresponsive haha

0102 - Error in the "Digital Backbone" (CPU/GPU/RAM), this is usually caused by a cold solder joint between the GPU and the mainboard.
If your console is under warrenty, send it to MS. If not, try sending it to a trusted xbox repairman with plenty of vouches(watch out! Always the possibility of a scam!) or send it to ms for a fee.
So, it is a huge coincidence that your xbox broke after you tried MCX360 lol.
Wow nice of you to immeadiatly blame mojang for your xbox crashing. The average lifespan for a 360 is about a year so maybe its just telling you its **** the bed and you need to get a new one. Dont go blaming it on mojang for your problems its just not right at all.
Coincidence, your xbox decided to die right then. As far as i've noticed, the average lifespan of an xbox 360 is about a year.
well then all of mine (i have 3 xbox360s) have outlived that lifespan ur logic fails sir i got the first xbox 360 the day the system was released in stores and i still have it and i also have an elite that i have had for 3 years and then i have a slim that i have had for a year and a half

An arcade game can't "corrupt" your xbox.

I'm calling ********.. Or maybe just a coincidence.. Either way.. SUX2BYU

Oops, didn't want to 1 up you. I wanted to say that I have had my Xbox for multiple years, and still runs perfect. Just sayin'.
The code is 0102.

You stupid, xbox 360's cost $300. And a normal old xbox cost $50. Your nowhere close
I've had mine for 4 years; but I have an older one. .-. I don't know anyone with an Arcade that hasn't broke it yet.
