From what I know Minecraft360 will be updated to the current PC Minecraft from Patch 1.7 forward. But what if instead of updating the game in order what if some things came first. I remember Patch 1.8... it didnt really do mutch. Empty Villages and Empty Strongholds. So guyes, what would your TOP 3 things be that they could put in first? I would have to say Brew Stands, Enchanting, and the Hunger Bar. I beleve thoes give you more things to do and the Hunger Bar makes Minecraft the Survival game that it is. What Updates are you all waiting for... Running might be another... haa haa.
I think it needs a better multiplayer system fast.. only being able to join friends servers is a drag... especially for a guy like me that doesn't have friends who play Minecraft.

Just curious, if you don't have friends to play with on XBL why on earth would you spend 20$ on it instead of sticking with the PC, up-to-date version?
But back on topic, if they don't just jump to 1.2 I'd definitely say slimes, pistons and repeaters.

Just wondering why they didn't just start it at the current PC version, Why did they start at 1.6? As long as they get pistons and creative in soon I will be happy.

Cause when Microsoft announced at last year's E3, I believed the version the pc was on was 1.6.6. So 4J had to work with what they had. Plus making the game from scratch might not have been that essy either. However, I have read that they are updating to 1.2? I don't know about that. I will have to look for that answer.
This topic is irrelevant, they have stated they will be jumping from 1.6.6 to 1.2.
jumping straight to 1.2.5 would be horrifying for the xbox, there would be such a massive increase in content that the glitches would render the game unplayable for months before 4j could fix it, it must be done gradually or the game could undergo a complete failure

There's a thing called bug testing you know.
It's not like they would just throw it out on the marketplace as soon as they're done.

bug testing can only go so far, and besides, the amount of work and coding that would have to go into adding all the features brought in between 1.6.6 and 1.2.5 would be incredible, it would take ages, its just more efficient to release the updates in bits and pieces, not all at once

It would take longer to do it one update at a time anyways. And bug testing doesn't "only go so far". If they held a closed testing with around 200 testers for a month most likely 99% of all the bugs would be squashed.

thats not true, note how every update mojang made removed some bugs but introduced others, its an endless cycle, you remove some, the new code adds others. bug fixing isn't a miracle process that makes everything perfect, just like everything else in life, there are trade offs that must be made

Each update on the PC had new bugs because they had (I'm guessing) 20 or less people bug testing for a very short amount of time. If they did a closed bug test as I said above they could easily get all of them.
By the time they got to 1.2.5 if they did it one update at a time, minecraft would be a bunch of updates ahead, meaning Xbox and PC versions would never overlap allowing Xbox-PC multiplayer. Updating from 1.6 to 1.2.5 in one big update is really their only option.

Curse Premiumbecause it feels more like an alpha/beta then a full game and your paying 20 bucks which is kind of pricey for an arcade game. OH well.
Is there any link about this? or where did they state this?

No. I have heard they are doing 1.7, 1.8, 1.0 and 1.2!
