Ok so.. apparently the seed i chose (my name) is all tundra and i didn't realize this intill after i had 25 diamonds... and ive uncovered the hole map, and there isnt 1 sugar cane... is there a way to obtain sugar can without finding one, or modding it in?

Great just realized theres also no cacti.... this blows gonna have to re do everything even got fully auto farm im gonna have to redo

Reasons like this the map needs to be considerably bigger.

Another issue with the map size. Fortunately, you seem to start with a map. That should be the most important item that requires sugar cane/reeds. If your map doesn't have at least one sugarcane to start a farm, you're out of luck.

Well yes, but they could be planning ahead, for the newer versions. I made a sugarcane farm to get ready for whenever enchanting gets added later. That way I'll be able to make bookshelves and an enchanting room right away.

However I haven't seen cactus in my world yet, but I haven't went over the whole thing yet either.

The only problem I'm really having is that animals despawn after a while. I had a cow, sheeps, chicken, wolf, and pig all cages up in little holes in the ground..I was gonna make a farm at a later time when breeding gets added. But it doesn't really work if they keep disapearing every couple minutes or so.
