Thinking about snagging that 2 months for $2 xbox gold deal, question is my internet is pretty slow and PC minecraft servers have over 10 seconds of lag. Do xbox servers have that much lag?

hmm, hard to say, it depends on the game, though the way the MC360 works, you may be alright, the only thing i can recommend is to just try it
edit: also try to keep the amount of players to a minimum, again, try and see what works
Still a credit to your ruse, what a beautiful excuse, To never open up your eyes and see the things you lose,
Just climb the beanstalk when you die and meet the giant in the sky.
Um... I highly doubt there is a 10 second lag. More likely a .1-2 second lag. I haven't played online yet, if you get gold I'll be happy to play with you when I'm through with school.
Depends, was the lag because of the poor server or was it your router, phone line or isp?
if it was any of the last 3, it'll be the same.
Try playing another game online first, if its good, you should be ok.
I would, but I don't have a gold account.
my router is fairly new, would my xbox's wired connection tone down the lag, unlike my wirless desktop?

Think my post is helpfull, hillarious or just plain likeable? Freaking hit the green UP arrow down there, or else.
I have 54k, getting faster internet this summer though. I would, but I don't have a gold account. my router is fairly new, would my xbox's wired connection tone down the lag, unlike my wirless desktop?
Nvm reread the first post. Xbxo games lag, really depends on the person hosting the game and also your connection for how much it will lag for you. No, dial up is not good enought for anygame on xbox, especially routing the connection through a laptop, slowing it down even more.
You need xbox live gold to play any xbox game online. its common knowledge at this point... its only been that way for what, 10 years?
Oops, I misunderstood. I thought you mean't he can't play with his poor internet type. I have always known you can't play online without Gold. Like you said, it is common knowledge.

The game runs at a solid 50-60 fps.

Really? They claim it's locked at 60fps. I'm no programer though.
