The Autosave feature saves player data every 5minutes, This does not save the level you are currently playing.

Second player is unable to look around in split screen. All other functions work, e.g. move, inventory, e.t.c. but I'm unable to look around with right stick. I tried to change controller scheme to reverse Look and Move sticks - the problem still exists - unable to look around. I have also tried to reinstall the game and to switch to vertical split screen mode - nothing helps.
It worked well in trial mode! And I'm pretty sure my controller works fine in other games.

I have found a strange bug where i find skeletons (not sure about other mobs) seem to be glitched into one position, not attacking, after hitting them a few times my game said, "error connecting to server, returning to main menu. I hve a silver account and i hosted the server, i havnt played with friends yet.
Go on top of bed. Go into sneak mode. Look at the bed. Use the bed. You can now move your head around and have stuff in your hand while your in the bed.
The biggest problem for me with this game is that in splitscreen/co-op mode, the inventory, chest, and crafting table pop ups are WAY WAY WAY too small to be seen, even on my 50 inch TV, you have to get up from the couch, walk up to the TV to try to figure out what you're doing.
They need to change it to zoom those pop ups to the width and height of the splitscreen for people to be able to see them.
Are you near your spawn? I believe they said you can't place Lava or Water near your spawn. They said they're planning on adding a popup to tell you that at a later time.

Certain things are a bit hard for me to see also, I kinda wish they had a GUI Scale option or something... but it's not a huge deal, I can see what things are well enough. The hardest part is seeing how much of each thing I have sometimes.

That's my only real complaint with the game. They did a good job converting that Java distribution to C# or whatever Windows solution they came up with. I was surprised. The 1024x1024 world size doesn't bother me, I can still get lost, and the rendering is pretty smooth.
Kudos to the tutorial too, I think they took the extra time to show noobs how to get by in the world. One friend of mine had only played creative on the PC, and the tutorial showed him how things really work in minecraft.
i sure wish somebody would respond to this actual game breaking issue instead of worrying about building on grass and losing buckets
I agree. This is the only bug I have seen yet and I've started building multiple chests in my house and going back there to dump everything before I save and quit. Since I always build my main house right near the original spawn point to make it eay to find, I just load the game and go get my gear back. It's not ideal but it will do till it, hopefully, gets patched.
Lava and water is really glitchy , if you pick it up out of a large area the block it comes from stays empty , and after you try and place it , it just disappears , similarly with lava , so close on making a nether portal as well
You are too close to your spawn 4J has posted on Twiiter
iron ore resource does not drop when using wood pickaxe
That would be because you can't mine iron ore, or any other minerals, with a wooden pick. You need at least a stone pick or better. It's not a bug, just part of the game. It has alway been like this and it would have said this onscreen the first time you encountered iron in the game.
When some seeds drops from a tree on fire, and this seeds drops above the last middle piece of trunk when it's in fire...this causes an visual bug, the seed get transformed in a small fire blinking and shakking like crazy.
for some reason the only glitch i have found sofar is that i cant use furnaces, they freeze my game and i have to go back to the dashboard, no furnaces means not good items such as iron armor, any1 know how i can fix that? i uninstalled the game and redownloaded it but that didnt work, it gliches on all 3 of my worlds
Every time I open the inventory, I cannot close it. I can't move the pointer around, I can't select anything. All I can do is use LT and RT to choose the first and last item, but that doesn't help as I can't close it. Notch please get on this ASAP as I love playing the game but cannot do anything.
press start and go to your controller settings. you might have changed your configuration. the tutorial might also be on and preventing you from exiting out. press A or B to finish the small tutorial. If thats not the case press x or y and see if that closes it. y is the inv button
x is the crafting button. it might also be possible youre in the crafting list rather than the inventory

this was mentioned earlier. make sure your bed isnt against a wall
Make sure your bed is at least 2 blocks away from any wall. That was something that happened a lot in the PC version of 1.6 also.
