So far, I can not post up on the leaderboards, at all. I also can't keep anything in my invintory regardless of offline or online play. No matter what I do, when I leave a game and return, all my stuff is gone.
Conditions:
- Crafting Table disappeared twice during a single game session. First time, I didn't see it vanish; the second time, I set down the Table and saw it disappear an instant later
- I dropped the Table in a smallish (approx. 10-15) non-connected cave (only one entrance) I created. It was in a fairly dark corner of the cave. No torches were placed yet
- It was early game, hadn't built too much yet; maybe about a half hour into the game
- It was night and raining
- Both times it happened, the split screen player avatar was in the room with me
- The world was originally created/saved in a single player session; the disappearances occurred during a split screen session that was played during a separate gaming session
- Cloud saved game
- During split screen, no remote networked players
- Logged in to XBL
- During single player, this did not happen.
Can't think of any more details. I'll update if I think of anything else.

i sure wish somebody would respond to this actual gamke breaking issue instead of worrying about building on grass and losing buckets
We've seen to hit a major game breaking bug, we finally made a nether portal and went in the game froze host crashed and when he came back and loaded the map it's a different map. So basically our map has been erased and we are pissed. So nether = game breaking at least it was for us, not to mention our portal was about 40 blocks in the air and no way down before it crashed.
Only thing I can figure is auto save isn't saving at all or the game just completely wiped it when it crashed,
I finished the tutorial on the trial version without any issues, but after purchasing the full game, I got these diagonal blue lines across the bottom of my screen and the game froze. Afterwards, after a couple of minutes of aggressively collecting materials (i.e. mining large volumes of stone straight into a mountain), it froze again without the lines. The next time, the game did not freeze, but I lost all sound.
After this, I deleted the game and saves, then downloaded it again. I started a new world and started collecting materials again, but the game froze after clearing most of the trees off an island.
This is my first time playing, and the game seems very interesting, but this is a bit of a disappointment.

One thing that is kinda annoying is that u can't stack fence posts. I was trying to create a house with a padeo just like one of the houses in the tutorial but couldn't because they don't build on top of each other. Another thing is that when I was playing local split screen my friend and I slept and right when we were sleeping a hostile mob spawned in my house and killed my guest. This only happens in split screen. There is pluenty of light as well. One last glitch is game freezes when trying to view leaderboards but only when I try viewing all players and not just friends.

Idk HOW this happened, but I was talking around at night, and all of a sudden I saw (I kid you not) about 40 creepers all near eachother. Freaking...crazy spawn >.< lol
Also, when creepers blow up, they just... disappear along with the blocks No real "poof"
There is a known bug with scrolling through the leaderboards too quickly. We are looking at it.
Splitscreen requires to game to be in HD mode (ie playing the game through an HDMI cable or Composite on an HD TV). To play with silver/local players turn off the "Online Game" checkbox when you create the game, then press start on controllers to join once in the game.
When playing an online game, make sure you have all the controllers plugged in before you create/join a game and you will get a 4 player sign-in menu where you can sign in other Gold players or guests. Only Gold players can sign into splitscreen once you are in an online game.
This is a bug in the 360 version.
Not sure how you got this, all games have a "seed" exactly the same, just some are random. What seed did you use?
You can only join multiplayer games that your friends or people in your party are playing (they don't actually have to be hosting, just be in the game)
There is a bug that seems to be causing some settings problems on a very first play, but going into the settings menu and change your sensitivity should solve this for you.
I am pretty sure you can't dye wool back to white in the PC version. Bonemeal can be mixed with other dyes, or used to make stuff grow faster.
When using a tool as it breaks, the block that you were mining disappears and does not leave a block to pick up. I am glad i didn't learn this while mining diamonds, it was just iron...
Is this something that will be updated so people without HDtv's will be able to use split screen?
I spawned a new world, and invited a friend into my game. Together, we clocked in a nice three hours of building. Then, my xbox froze. No big deal, it autosaves right? Apparently, wrong. When I came to look at my world, it was empty, right as it was when we generated this. Am I misinterpreting the chest icon as an autosave feature? Or, is it really an autosave feature, like a assumed, and it doesn't work?

you could always put blocks on top of tall grass. gets annoying when your building something big and that happens

If your too close to a block your placing it disappears.
