someone sum up all the bugs found so far that have not been handled, then people need to double check that their bug is different from the others and post an updated list.
Okay, spent $20 which I earned through hard work to buy a game which won't even let me play! So, I go to the Games tab, go to my Minecraft "shortcut". Get to the page, click play go through the **** at first, then I get top the point where I have to hit b when signing in so it does not freeze (get signed out in "Mojang" page) so after that, it says there's a 3 mb update so I try to download so I don't get signed out. But when I start the download I get an error message which is not on the Xbox 360 support page. And I've tried multiple times, oh say 50+ in the last hour. And if you where wondering I just bought it and this happened. Might as well stick to 1.2.5 in the PC or downgrade with MCnostalgia and go back to 1.6.6. Also a majority of my friends have got both Single-player and Multi-player to work. I really don't want to demand a refund on a game which I've played on a different account since inv. dev (Minecraft fan boy if you will)
Did they even playtest this? Torches sometimes fully work, Game sometimes save properly, and Monsters can't be damaged if they are partially behind a block

Yes, they do, but sometimes the smallest thing they add to the game breaks some other feature without them noticing. Minecraft is a game that is never complete, and so there isn't really a final testing phase of it's production, before it's released. It's the same reason the PC version has so many bugs.

if ur still having a problem try deleting the game and then re downloading it
On topic: I think the OP should provide a short summary of every bug posted in the topic so far in the original post. A pain in the you know what having to look through 15 pages to see if someone has already posted the same bug.
whenever i go to the furnace it freezes not the game but the furnace menu, for now i have my friends to make stuff for me. Its not my controllers fault because if I play the tutorial the furnace menu doesn't freeze.
Redstone does not connect to repeaters.

Middle sugarcanes grown on sugarcane is invisible

When taking screenshots, the game often quits out to the title menu with the message 'lost connection with server' even in single player and sometimes it freezes a short time after taking a screenshot. This wouldn't bother me, but I like to share screenshots on FB.
Also the autosave doesn't seem to work, the icon pops up regularly, but if the game quits out to main menu/freezes, or I quit out without saving it doesn't save my progress since the last manual save, no matter how many times the 'autosave' chest icon has flashed.
Also, I really want them to update to the regenerating health/hunger format they have in the current PC version, and not being able to stack food is getting to be a pain in the behind.
Despite all this, its still more fun and less stressful than playing on my really laggy old laptop. LOVING IT!!!!
(will updates to the 360 version stick with the minecraft tradition of being free?!)

Try clearing the cache, downloading the game again (took me three freaking times) and hope that it solves the problem. I FINALLY got my game working last night, but some of the other issues are still running rampant.
Everyone please stop complaining about autosave! Because there is no such thing. And if there is, it doesnt work so dont depend on it.
There is such a thing, it's when the little chest icon appears in the top right corner, and why would we not complain about "because it doesn't work" that's the whole point if a thread about bugs...
If a water stream pushes a skele/zombie/creeper against a wall that it 1 block off the ground, so you can see their feet, hitting them will do no damage, though they jump and flash red.
I am not sure if anyone else noticed this or not, but when you spawn and you look at the provided map, you no longer spawn in the middle of the map. Also, any hostile mobs have to be fully visible to be damaged. I cannot damage mobs while under blocks or through a window unless the attack is directed at their head.
Whenever I exit any world, my game doesn't save my character data. This means, whenever I join back into the world, my character starts in the original spawn area and all I have is a map item. The map I join however, stays the same from changes I made to it from the previous save, but I just don't have any of the items I have collected. I tried deleting the game and restarting, but sadly nothing is working.
I get one pretty frequently when attacking mobs. I'll hit them and they'll turn red and jump back as if they're being hit, but they don't take any damage no matter how many times you hit them. If you do this with any tool it depletes the tool as well but they still don't die. It seems like 90% of the time this happens is when you're attacking them but can't completely see them. For instance, I dug upwards next to the floor of a cave and could only see the legs of a skeleton and creeper, i wasted 2 iron swords hitting them and neither ever died until i went into the cave and was face-to-face attacking them.

OP's job or not, the more pages the more 4J would have to sort through, meaning longer time for the bugs to get fixed

I've experienced this too.
Also, placing a sign without any text is impossible due to the Awaiting messege not disppearing.

Then just use a normal door? It may not be pretty, but it works.
