When i get on to play the game with a friend i get to play for about 2 minutes till the game kicks me from xbox live and knocks out my internet... its done it twice in a row and if it could get fixed asap please that would be greatly appreciated because my patients are running thin right now.
Do you have any issues on other multiplayer games? I haven't tried online co-op yet so I can't help, but it might be something wrong with your internet connection.
Your patients are running thin? That's what happens when they run!
On a serious note I haven't played yet so I can't replicate the problem to know if it is something on your end or Microsoft's end. Double check everything on your end and test with other games, if everything seems good you'll just have to wait it out.
are you sure this is a Minecraft/M$ problem? have you tried restarting your router to refresh the connection?
if it is not a problem at your end, I'm sure they'll look at it soon if others are having the same problem.
well i have tried other indie games and i was on it for 10 min and nothing happened, I have tried MW3 and nothing there either so it has to be something with the game.

i have tried 1 other indie game and MW3 and nothing happened to my connection, its just minecraft when i play it online only, i can play offline fine.
I got the game at 2:30am (PST) and played it until 6:00am (PST) Not once did any of the people in my world get kicked. sounds like a problem with your internet, not Minecraft.

its official, i can play other games (all my other games) online without getting kicked from xbox live and my internet getting knocked out and also i can play by myself on minecraft with a guest (my brother) without any problems, we played for 40 minutes. I'm worried im the only one with this problem and it will not get fixed.
Have you played it recently, or just immediately at release? It could have been too busy initially, but might work fine now.
i tried playing it around the time it came out for me then my friend appeared online and we started playing but we played for atleast 8 minutes because the sun was going down and i was on my way to the house then i lost connection, internet went out and i was knocked off xbox live... the second time was right after my internet booted back up, we started another game then it kicked me within 2 minutes after joining. I can play fine online by myself but not with others or it will knock out my internet.
When my friend invite me to his world, I get connect, load part of the world, then I lose connection to the server in less than a minute of connecting. However, my friend has no problem staying connected to my world.
Any idea what's going on? My friend has an older model Elite 360 with the wireless adaptor, and I have a slim 360, and we're both connected wirelessly to a router.
I've been hosting an online server for about a month now and have encountered tons of networking issues/conflicts. I recently posted the worst issue here. Random people get dumped from the game and/or Xbox Live party all the time. Occasionally (at least once a session) the entire party gets dumped and kicked out of the game. I've also encountered two pairs of players who seem to be mutually-exclusive in terms of connectivity; ie. one logs-in and the other gets booted. I've tested various combos and it's 100% reproducible. I'm guessing it's some issue with the actual MC game (vs XBLive) since the community would be screaming bloody murder if this happened in games like COD or Halo. I really hope more people report this and it gets addressed.

I have also seen this happen alot. Yes there is sometimes issues definitely with a maxed(or near) out server. And yes its not everyone's game and doesn't happen always. Plus there is to many variables to pin it down to just Minecraft and not have certain people networks to blame a little too and possibly even LIVE. But I believe there is room for improvement on 4J's side.
