It's exactly the same as PC MC, but it is from Beta 1.6.6. However, people are going to find a way to complain about a new game that comes off of an older version even though they always say the oldest version is best. Why do you think the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary forums are so flaming?
The limit is really annoying. Don't tell me it's enough because after a few days you'll have seen it all..
There are a few things that they could have told us before but oh well that's just how marketing works!
Also the price of 1600 MSP is just too much, Mojang and M$ doing a cash grad, again ._.
1600 Microsoft Points=$20, which is apparently a rip-off, even though it is cheaper than the current PC version by 10$.
I'm not proud of the XBOX version. Why? You need certain cables for your controllers to work splitscreen, and I'm worried I bought a faulty version of all the bugs and missing features that we were PROMISED.

I might be iron, but I make your picks to mine diamonds.
I bought Pc in Alpha so it was 10 dollars. But in this game it is 1600? For less than what the full game has to offer? 20 dollars isn't worth it. Although I do want it considering my Comp is broking. Meh. I think they could of cheap the price alittle for the punt of content there lacking, even if it will be updated later.
The fact is that there has NEVER been a XBLA Title over 1200 MSP. Mojang could have easily asked 1200 MSP like everyone else.
Mojang/4J Studios has very little say in the pricing of the game. If you want to blame someone for the price, blame Microsoft as they're the ones who decide the pricing.
So far I'm enjoying the game. I was pleasantly surprised at how well done the tutorial was. I spent a good 3 hours in the tutorial just exploring everything that 4J Studios had put in it. There's a lot of stuff that you wouldn't even find if you just follow the tutorial.
So far I've managed to find two towns(one with a wheat farm), a lighthouse, and a castle with a dock in the back. There's probably more I'm missing but I think I'm going to start my own world now.

Right now the current price is almost 30$, so you're getting a deal

Not really a big gripe for me but the only way you can change difficulty is exiting and reentering your world from the load game screen instead of the settings menu.
Well, I'm having a ton of fun with it. A bit disappointed by the fact that you need HDMI to play split screen, but I'll get over it.
Also, a bit annoyed. I just lost 90% of my stuff in the world I was on, because I didn't manually save, and it decided to kick me to the main menu due to "Lost connection to server" or something similar.
So Tip, Pause the game occasionally and manually click "Save Game". I expected it would autosave, but that is apperently not the case. It may have been obvious to some people, but I expected autosaving or something. Maybe I'm just too used to the PC version. lol.
Don't get me wrong though, it's awesome, and I don't mind TOO much that I lost some stuff, all I had some a small house, a wheat farm, a sugar cane farm, and some iron. Which in this game, doesn't exactly take long to get.
The game play seems smooth and by the time I started playing it has been bug free. The controller works surprisingly well.
My big problem is with the size limit... I found out about it for the first time when I fired the game up and went to explore. On top of that, up until yesterday I thought we had custom avatars and that there would be future PC compatibility and mod support. All of which were rumors... But all those rumors could have been put to rest had they released an official list of what would and would not have been in the game. Something a bit more concrete than "The same as Beta 1.6 on the PC!" Which it isn't... 1.6 was InfDev.
Which brings me to my final point, the game breaking concern... the 1000x1000 limit. Now I can live with that by myself for a while The problem is when me and my friends decide to max out with 8 players on a map and make it our permanent home. How many months will it take before 8 hardcore Minecraft players deplete all the resources in our 1000x1000 map?
Still a credit to your ruse, what a beautiful excuse, To never open up your eyes and see the things you lose,
Just climb the beanstalk when you die and meet the giant in the sky.
Wow, you're such a fanboy.. Even Minecraft can get boring! Also there is a DLC Button in the Main Menu, what the heck?
it's for custom skins, texture packs, and possibly mods that will be released in the near future

The fact is that you can't compare Minecraft to another XBLA title.

Well, did you really think they would gave all those custom skins, texture packs and mods (mods being a big "maybe) for free? XD
As long as it eventually looks like the PC version...
