From what I've read so far I don't see anybody raging in here. They are all just stating why you might be wrong and that the game will release at 5 EST, and all the other times they stated. I don't usually stay up for xbox releases, but I've been up when some things have come out at around 5AM EST.

pretty much every arcade game i've ever waited for has been released around 2am for me. (5am for est, 4am central, 3am mountain) o.o

I waited for Fez, and it was out about that early. Last time I did that was for Castle Crashers, which seems to have been later.
I expect between 1-3 PST. If its not out by 2 I'll give up and just go to bed. Really interested in giving this a try, as I'm completely new to Minecraft.
I'm a huge fan of Junk Jack on my iPad, so to have the real meal deal on my tv is exciting

Awesomenauts is a different release, however. It didn't get loaded into the cylinder like normal releases did, I don't believe I was honestly shocked it showed up at all, since there were rumors that it wouldn't see light outside of PSN.
Anyways, games set to release on Wednesday have a general pattern of release that puts them AROUND 2 PST. maybe some might be later, or earlier, but Minecraft is chambered to be released in a queue that will see its release at the standard time. QED.

How is that raging? You are being kind of foolish for pretty much going "NOPE" to everything anyone here is telling you about the release time, and your excuse? The xbox support guy told you he didn't know when it'd be out. Your logic is pretty flawed and your only defense is from a guy who like someone else said, probably read it from a list of answers.

not one time did i say "nope".. and no if youd read the original post my main cause for believing was from majornelson.. a major person in the xbox community.. who said he would be tweeting/posting when minecraft360 is released, and i dont think he would stay up all night to wait and post.. i never told ANYONE they were wrong.. but simply spoke my opinion on if it will come out this early.. and based on when other arcade games I have waited for, its possible it wont because Ive seen afew release around noon.. so please stop being arrogant. All i meant was its probably not a good idea too ruin your sleep scheduled over a game that might not come out at the time everyone expects... if youre a night owl like me it probably doesnt matter... i feel like people in this forum have some serious underlying anger towards any opinion that doesnt support their own. absolutely no reason to call someone a fool because of an accusation

Yes I read the original post, and yes I agree Major Nelson probably won't be up at the release time to tell everyone it is out. That doesn't mean it wont be released a bit before he tells everyone. As I stated before I've been up for a few xbox releases and Major Nelson did not tell me it was out the time it came out.

I mainly was stating how no one was raging, and how what you quoted wasn't even a rage, and that the information the xbox support guy, and even when major nelson said he will post when released isn't always correct.

I've got Junk Jack on my itouch, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
It's harder on the iPod. The iPad gives so much more screen space. But I enjoy it on my iPhone. It did take me a few hours tinkering but then I fell IN LOVE. I'm not a very creative person, but I built a really nice house for me to live in, with a padded cell in the basement, even!
OT: I wish there was a countdown thread. That way I can rely on others fervently refreshing
think logically people, If alll arcade games since the beginning of the xbox arcade were released at the same time... dont you think they would have said itll be added same time as the rest... really? you all are in the beginning stages of denial..
They ALWAYS say they don't know the exact time because they don't. There's about a two hour window for the servers to be updated. Its between 5-7 AM EST.
And even if they did know an exact time no company ever gives anything more then a date in case things go wrong. If they tell people it'll be out exactly at 5 AM EST then the server crashes everyone would have a fit.
Saying it'll be out on May 9th then saying they don't know an exact time gives them damn near 24 hours to fix whatever can go wrong and still get the game out that day.
Its what EVERY company does with digital releases.

I really am excited for the release, unfortunately for me it is midterm week, and have class very early. I think one more T.V. episode, and I will get it after school. Huh? It's only 1am. It *likely* won't release until after 2am (another hour from now..)
And then we are LUCKY if it releases before about 7am EST.
