This is a hugely overlooked issue and a very decisive one too, especially to the people who like to play minecraft on and off for days even when their friends are offline. I think this is even more important then map size to tell you the truth. If I can't save the the town that me and my friends have been working on for hours, and the host gets offline(which could be for days), then honestly what is the point of playing if you can only start working on your stuff when the host is online again?

yeah it'll most likely be like that since the map is being saved to your console.
