Mine'd probably be some sort of castle made of cobblestone, and over time it'd be upgraded with towers and whatnot, a lava moat, and maybe an underground spleef arena.
Either a nice beach house...or a classic log cabin.

I probably start with a standard wood house like I normally do.
Then slowly gather resources through a complicated cave system (I'm awesome at mines.)
And the. Probably make a large house/village where my friends can set up camp.
I already have a vision of what my house will become. As I have stated before, I will build a fairly small house (cobble and wood, maybe some wool) and get straight to work on gathering materials and making a dark room. Then I will construct an improved version of my all time favorite house, made back in 1.7.3.

THanks for this topic I'll probably build something like a house in the side of a mountain with glass or maybe a village where I can have my friends stay when were playing in my world.

I like to find the biggest mountain in site and hollow it out, filling it with endless secret doors and passage ways. I'm assuming that pistons won't be available upon release but I hope that they will be a priority.
Inside a hill, as is common for me.
I will have to watch my iron and diamond consumption, which will be an interesting challenge(provided I stay in that world for long enough to completely dig the caverns out)
