So, I was wondering if anybody knew if there would be a leveling system, and, also, if there will be any NPC villages?

Xbox release will he at the level of minecraft. Beta 1.6.6

So no... No xp orbs or villages until a later update

there will be just not at launch in a furture update there will be but there is no knowing how long it will be till that update hopefully not to long
