He is probably posting those videos from secret black UN helicopters or from area 51!!!!!!
The game comes out the day after tomorrow, there is really no point in arguing. I will buy it then and enjoy it. You are free to think and do what you like...

He runs a gaming website, there's a link in the youtube videos description. That's how he got an early copy, just like Gamespot.
So the PC version is roughly 32,000 times bigger than mcx360. I will instantly play on the lowest settings with short view distance if it means larger worlds in an update. Come on notch, allow us to use free space on the hard drive to handle the more awesome world sizes. Minecraft with small worlds is like WoW without raids and dungeons or pvp, is not the same bra. I wouldn't be surprised if southpark made an episode based on the disappointment that is mcx360 after all the hype and waiting. We all welcome the idea of updates increasing world size. I'm still buying this, but there are more that want big worlds than ones that don't or don't care. P.s. you are now manually breathing. ;b

Or the complainers could stop being butt hurt and learn to adapt. It's like this. I've said this so many times today.
Minecraft PC: Your plane crashes into a forest. Forcing you to survive.
Minecraft XBLA: Your boat wrecks on a desolate island, leaving you stranded.

Thank you. I forgot to mention it is safer to stay on the island than it is to swim out in the ocean.

I read some where too that its only 120mb.
If someone says "you don't buy games solely on file size"
What if Skyrim was only 120mb... I wouldn't buy it..
Look at the Marketplace, Skyrim has less RATINGS then MINECRAFT...
120mb for a game that has been taking for a long to release, is just ridiculous.
There is nothing the game has to offer that is worth $20.
A HUGE part of file sizes in games are textures. The higher resolution the textures are the bigger the overall file size of the game will be. A game like Skyrim that has good graphics and a lot of areas is gonna have a **** ton of textures, all higher resolutions, leading to a huge overall file size. Not even including the actually programming for the map, movements, ect.
A 16x16 texture for a block is tiny as ****. When there aren't all that many different textures in Minecraft the file sizes aren't gonna be that big. Minecraft also doesn't have an abundance of animations or scripts that run constantly and no set map. Just a code that generates a random map. So it doesn't have a lot of the things included in the base folder(or whatever 360 games are compiled into) to increase the file size that much.
The filesize for Minecraft will increase once a world is generated, once players log in to a game(it has to create files to remember player inventories, placement, ect.), ect. And the biggest part that causes problems in world size is the map.
So your argument on the file sizes of the games is complete ****. Ratings on a system used primarily by young CoD players probably isn't that reliable either.
Not to address the "MAPS NEED TO GET BIGGER IN THE FUTURE!!!1!" crap.
That's not likely. If they do they won't be expanded by much. If they really are about 1k x 1k then it might only be increased to 1500x1500 or 2000x 2000.
The reason for smaller map sizes on the 360 is the same reason for self hosted PC servers not being able to handle many people. It causes to much strain on the machine.
The 360 is going to have to handle not only your block management(placing, breaking, updating, ect), movement, and chunks. It has to handle it for up to 8 people. Imagine 8 Minecraft clients being played on your PC at once. That's basically what your 360 is gonna be handling if you have 8 people online. Granted the XBL version is in C#(Or C++.. Whatever it is). The map size is part of the optimization. The 360 probably can't handle 8 people generating new terrain.
A SP world it probably could easily. I'd be shocked if it couldn't. But if they don't limit your SP world then you could just walk to generate a 10k x 10k map and then allow friends to join. Effectively defeating the purpose of the world limit anyway.
I can't think of a single reason why doing what I just said in the previous paragraph would cause more lag then a 1k x 1k map. It'd still be up to 8 people's blocks, chunks, and movement info that would have to be received by the host then sent out to everyone. Not anymore world generation would have to be handled(provided they made it so once your world goes SMP it couldn't be expanded anymore). But I'm not a game developer so there probably are reasons for it.
Another possible reason for limiting it is the internet of the host. Someone with a 1.5Mb connection probably couldn't handle 2 people generating new chunks. Let alone 8. It'd probably crash.

I'm usually not trying to be rude. So if a post comes across that way then sorry :]
If I am correct it was said that the main reason the worlds are limited is due to split screen. Players should have the option to disable split-screen on their world. This way the world could be a tad bigger.

NOTHING is concrete until the actual game comes out in 2 days

Have faith, brothers in Minecraft.
well obviously you don't have any concrete evidence to prove otherwise.
