I'm planning on making a survival map when minecraft xbla finally releases. I got the idea from the hunger games. I'm brand new to minecraft and have never played before. I have been watching tutorials on how to build a lot of things. When minecraft xbla first releases it will be 1.6.6 beta. Some of the materials I want to use will not be available at first. When the game gets a couple of updates I will start to work on the map. Not to mention, creative mode will not be available at launch. Is it even possible to design a map in creative mode and play it on survival? I don't think you can As of now I have the rough layout of the map (if I knew how to post a picture I would). I'm planning on having four biomes: forest, snow, sand, and netherland. There will also be a lake,stream, and cave(s). There are going to be secret chests and traps spread throughout the map. So far I have found tutorials on everything I want to make besides a trap that lights the forest on fire. I was thinking of making a volcano but I'd rather make somthing simplier. Is there anyway to make lava fall into the forest being activated by a switch? When this map finally gets done I will post a video on my youtube account (BaC0nz) on how to join in the games. I will be posting some video updates as the creating progresses. Thanks for reading and post your feedback!

for the trap just set it up like this (block)(lava)(block)..................................
....................(switch)(wire)(piston---])(block)

This idea of yours for a hunger games map is quite interesting and I would like to help if you need it.

But I think it will be at least two or three updates before you can switch between game modes.
