Toggle-able hunger would make a lot of people happy. I think the friend requirement is good, because you know the person on the end of the line at least a little bit, whereas even if there was an accept/decline join, you wouldn't know anything about them. Randomly generated structures are high on my list.

Recording the game with some sort of theater mode like what Call of Duty and Halo have would fry the Xbox from the inside out. They had to work their asses off to just get the game to run on 7 year old hardware. Putting in some kind of recording feature would kill the game and your 360.
Being able to join random games of people who aren't on your friend list would be impossible without a dedicated server list. Besides, that's not a good idea with vanilla servers that lack griefing tools. Recording within the game will just never happen. There's absolutely no need for it. Competitive games have much use for it, Minecraft does not. You'd fill your harddrive with boring footage of mining before anything interesting happened. If you need to record or a LP or something, invest in proper capture tools. Hunger bar toggle is just nit picky. Toggling it off would also have to toggle food stacking, for balance reasons.
i think the toggleable hunger bar would be cool but i dont think they will add recording if you want to do that you should get the pc version and for the other idea if random people joined your game they would probably trying to join you just to greif
