I barely see any hate. What I see tons of on the other hand is a massive ****ing lack of informed people.
Almost everyone on here is so clueless about the game it's a little sad. 99% of questions asked have already been answered or stated by the devs at 4J and Microsoft. Or they are just common knowledge things that anyone who owns an Xbox 360 or has common sense should know.
I don't understand why i see so much hate about Minecraft coming out on the 360, like if you already have it for the pc and are able to play it fine, that's cool and good for you, but to people like me, who's computer can't handle it and don't want to spend a crazy amount of money just to play on the pc, this is great news! So i say look at it from someone else's view, don't you agree ?
They are called "Trolls", it's best to ignore them and they will crawl back under their bridges.

Ohhh you would love YouTube people think that Notch is head of Minecraft: XBLA, Mods and Kinect are at launch and people who have pirated the game spreading misleading info with no source or evidence
The funny thing is, when I wrote a comment recently on one of the newer 360 trailers a bajillion people downvoted my comment because I suggested that split screen is a good thing. Like I should be sorry for same-couch multiplayer. Bunch of noobs never played Goldeneye.

I also think that splitscreen is a good thing. My sister wanted to play with me, but we only had one account, so we couldn't. She'll have her wishes soon, though.

I originally thought the idea of Minecraft on the Xbox was great... but now I don't think so. First of all, the tutorial. It's great to give new players a few hints, but when you go along and say "Ok, so this is how you craft a pick, remember to use logs to make wood and build a house, or hide in a cave because monsters are going to come out and massacre you during the night," it ruins the feeling of discovery. The recipe book also screws it up. It's nice to have something like that in-game to give hints to a new player instead of having to spoil it by looking on the wiki, but there isn't even nice crafting - if you have the materials, you can make it, you don't have to try again and again to make the thing you're trying to craft. It just shows you what to do, and even the later-game recipes are shown! Anyway, sorry for ranting, but that's how I see it.

What are you talking about? The crafting system is perfect! Have you ever played TotalMiner: Forge? That game is an excellent example of how MCPC-style crafting with a controller is extremely clunky, and just flat out sucks.
And if the tutorial is ruining the "feeling of discovery" for you, how about this:

There's a gazillion tutorials on YouTube about how to survive your first Minecraft night and many of them go into great detail telling you how to craft your crafting table and a sword and a pick. Why single out the XBox tutorial that just happens to come packaged with the game as ruining a newbie's sense of adventure? People can even watch a dozen different "Let's Play" series, essentially watching someone else play Minecraft from start to finish.
Yeah, the XBox tutorial shows some pretty basic stuff; but you should consider that there are a lot more younger children (e.g. even 4 year olds) playing on the XBox than on the PC. Putting Minecraft on the XBox has attracted a whole different user base than the PC did.

The MCXBLA worlds are the size they are because of memory limitations, and i like the fact the servers are there for everybody to play on, it's a good way to talk to new people.
I don't think you know what a dedicated server is.

Check out my Homestuck OC and ask him a question, or tell him to do something in his intro! If you have an OC, I'm looking for roleplay partners!

Don't do the tutorial...

Which is why I want them to push bigger worlds and dedicated servers.
Well Its a strong word. Its a Inferior word...
