I saw some of the Pax footage and from that and what I gathered from release notes, on the 360 you will have to punch sheep for wool and we won't have shears? I'm new to minecraft, so I'm used to using shears. Will the wool grow back like in 1.2.5, or will it still have that bug where it doesn't grow back that I've seen in some youtube vids?
Can't wait for Wednesday!

Whatever it did in 1.6.6 it will do in this version.

The Xbox 360 version will start at an older version(Beta 1.6.6), before shears were introduced to the game so yes, you'll need to rough up a few sheep to make a bed I'm afraid.
I'm uncertain if sheep wool regrew in 1.6.6(it was added in Beta 1.7 I think, but maybe someone else can confirm this?).

Right clicking sheep while holding nothing causes the game to crash.
When placing a block, it may be placed invisible, with only its border showing up. The same may happen when removing block, only its ghost will stay. Both these bugs result in crash.
Shears were added in 1.7 but it doesn't say anything about wool regeneration. It might already be in 1.6.6
Wool regeneration (as far as I know) had a bug up until 1.2.5 where it was supposed to regrow by the sheep eating grass, but didn't. They'd just sit there and not regrow wool. I could be wrong about that, tho, this info is coming from an older paulsoaresjr tutorial vid and I'm unclear exactly which version he was using, only that his map was updated in the next episode with 1.2.5 and his sheep were growing wool again.
I've only just started playing... bought it a week or so ago. I just was wondering if they would leave the bugs in it knowingly like that or if they would have fixed them. But on second thought, mojang would be the one's fixing the bugs, then the other guys (sorry can't remember their name) would turn it xbox compatible, so maybe that's my answer right there?
No real biggie, I'm buying it anyway, and they will def. update it, so I was just putting the question out there to see if anyone knew.
I'm excited about the 360 version cause my pc doesn't play minecraft well. I can't wait to play a lag-free version!

Wool regrowth wasn't introduced until 1.1, and it was never supposed to be in the game prior to that. Passive mob spawning is a lot different in 1.6.6 than it is now. Passives will spawn/despawn the same way monsters do, and wool regrowth wasn't needed as a part of this.
Oh! That's good to know, chewy, ty! I like the idea that passive mobs will always be there. At least until the 1.1 update! But I'll miss breeding a bit.

Some of the new footage/videos released today by Hat indicated that all known bugs were fixed and removed from the Xbox 360 Edition, but otherwise we will start out with version 1.6.6. Glad to hear bugs were removed, but I kind of figured they would have been.
