So I'm going to be new to the Minecraft world(Never had a PC good enough to run it) And I'm just wondering if the maximum amount of players(which i've heard is 8) will stay that way? I've played Total Miner on the Indie Games for 360 for awhile and i think the maximum amount was 16-24 or something relevant to that. 8 doesn't seem to entice me very much . Just wondering your inputs on everything! And even map sizes, i've seen a lot of posts about how the 360 maps will be smaller, but, How much smaller? Have been watching A LOT of videos on YouTube and Live streams of Minecraft, I'm pretty much obsessed already. Also, This is my first post on the forums, sorry if I made a mistake by repeating a question or putting something somewhere else, idk, lol. Thanks for any information or opinions on how things will work out! Hope to see you all soon on the console!
I did that once, and it only took me about 30 minutes or so. I think that the world size still needs to be increased slightly, then the amount of players would be able to increase drastically.
This is an old thread that started before the game was even released. Besides, I think he was talking about the PC version. I think it takes longer than a few hours to walk across a MCPC world though. I've seen some "Journey to the Far Lands" videos, and they tend to have a lot of episodes.
Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with the 8 player limit. I rarely play with that many people anyway. For one, the world is too small, plus some of my friends are d*cks and I like to keep track of them. =P
