everybody knows that seeds were used in 1.6.6 so i am not leaking info!
if you play minecraft on pc you can press F3 and find your seed.
what if you entered that seed in on xbox? will you get your world terrain on nothing?
leave replys on your thoughts!
There was a video from someone playing the game at PAX East who entered a seed from the PC version and it generated the same world terrain, so I suppose it's possible. If I can find the video I'll post it.
Edit: My mistake, it was Minecon, not PAX East but here's the link.
Most people already know this. It was confirmed months ago. Informed people already know this. Though there are massive amounts of completely clueless people on here. That is despite the fact there has been tons of news about it.
Also, there is a huge archive of Seeds in the Seeds Subforum that has seeds for every version of Minecraft (that seeds were available in)
I wasn't aware! That's awesome. Seeds are one of the little things in Minecraft that make the game so much better. Glad to learn that they will be in the XBLA edition too.
More then likely displayed on your pause menue.Seeds arent big news totalminer even has em.
MCangus I like your post but not EVRY one spends every wakeing moment searching for news on MC.So If this is good news for that person you really dont need to down talk them.
It works pretty good... these are that I know work:
theworstseedever
404
gargamel (<--or however you spell it)
glacier
quesadilla

On the bright side: old seeds like Glacier will work like they used to.
