I like the hunger bar, but don't think it adds any challenge at all. They add it and you continue playing an already well developed world? Congratulations, you should already be well stocked on food. You start a new world? It takes 2 Minecraft days max to build a basic farm, and you are set.
This should not be a problem on Xbox, and people on PC still whine about it too, but I don't know why. They all have different complaints too. "It's too hard!" or "It's too easy!", which one is it?
I'm just glad there's no bathroom gage after eating rotten zombie flesh
Lolz @^ then you'd have to craft a diamond toilet because we all know wood, stone and iron wouldn't be able to handle more than a couple zombie flesh butt blow outs!
For one it isn't Notch who is making the updates for the 360 version, it's 4J taking Notch's original updates and modifying them so that they will be compatible with the 360 version. Two ya i do agree in some sense, it was kind of an annoyance at first but once you got used to the idea of it, it kinda actually made the game easier in my opinion; in the fact that you could now keep on breeding animals without the worry of them despawning.
I hope you all realize this is a thread that was created back in April, BEFORE the game actually came out. Who ever brought this thread back to life lit a fire that doesn't really even mean anything right now.
Yes, Notch does not oversee Minecraft anymore, don't need to mention it every page. Yes, the food bar will be added, was it in the release? No, but it will be soon.
These were already answered many times before. People have different views on the game. Some pleople consider Creative mode cheating in Minecraft, others not. Some people like the food bar, others do not. I personally didn't like the food bar at first, but now playing without it, and the only way to gain health is by eating food, I tend to lean more towards wanting the hunger bar. If you consider no hunger bar easy, good for you. I think the game is harder since you don't have a natural health regeneration.
Maybe you didn't get used to it because when I play its much better than the original health for example when you fall a couple blocks you need to find food but for the health bar you can restore health and its awesome for combat
I always supported the optionality (should be a word, but isn't) for a hunger bar. I know its a trademark of survival now, and if the PC doesn't have the option, more than likely the Xbox won't have it. It does add challenge and I think it is necessary for competitive gameplay, but sometimes it feels nice to play like I did in early Beta and just enjoy exploring and mining, enjoying the "simplicity" of Minecraft a bit more.
In 1.8 Notch pretty much shoved all new features down our throats, some we couldn't even ignore, like hunger. Don't get me wrong, I liked most of the "adventure" features, it was just the things that affected the core gameplay. It forced players the way they had to play majorly, and I felt instead of having fun I was micro-managing when and where I had to get food, and how I could time everything to get food again instead of just messing around (1.8, before mass animals). Since Post 1.8-1.9 I was having FPS issues any way, I just plain quit Minecraft on the PC, coming back every so often to work on my creative worlds and fix my corrupted ones.
I am actually enjoying Minecraft now, and my friends (who all quit at 1.8.) bought the game and were having fun too. So surely I don't ask to do something as detrimental as get rid of the hunger bar, but just make it optional at world start, adjusting setting and item values as needed. A large request to ask, I know, but its for something large few actually requested.
If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.

And because of that, notch is the true creator of minecraft ^^ All Hail Notch!

1) Notch has NOTHING to do with MC360
2) Have you read any of the other threads ( IT IS HAPPENING. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU CRY )
