With a netbook and no chance to play PC minecraft I'm wondering how the 360 will handle the TNT shows some people put on. Obviously the console cant lag right?
The same thing will happen that happens on the pc version, either lots of lag for an unkown amount of time or the xbox will just freeze.
actually you'll probably need a significantly larger amount of TNT to "lag" or freeze on the 360 then you would pc. the issue that the pc has is the fact how badly its coded.

Yes. Just as I said TONS of TNT is required. PC TNT doesn't work well, meaning much more must be used on Xbox to cause lag. It will still lag, however.
Of course this will be a rather moot point until the version is updated to add creative... hard to get lots of tnt without. (perhaps a huge mob spawner to get gunpowder...)
Games are optimized for the consoles specs. So in most cases games won't lag. When games do lag its do to the host's internet connection. Its not a fault of the console.

I'm usually not trying to be rude. So if a post comes across that way then sorry :]

Yes, but it will still slow down if enough TNT goes off at once, which is what most people here (incorrectly) call lag.

Play the King of the Hill Halo 3 gametype split-screen, and tell me it doesn't lag. It's about animations, pal.
More animations = more lag.
Even when I do have host connection, I'll still get lag, consoles aren't perfect.
Thanks for the laugh, OP.

Worse for some, better for others.
I have the world's crappiest PC, so I can't wait to play on far render distance and get over 15 fps.....
