Im a bit worried about how well and smooth the game will perform on the xbox. I saw the first video that was released that showed co-op, and it didnt seem to be very fluid.
I've heard that it plays pretty well. I haven't played the 360 version, but I have used a 360 controller to play the PC version, and it worked pretty good. The only issue was the crafting(which I had to use a mouse for), but that won't be an issue as they redesigned the crafting system to work better with a controller.
Well the one I saw the guy spent alot of time digging dirt. There was an audio glitch (not a major problem) where the dirt destroying made the sound twice, also he seemed to run into the side of a block alot before jumping up over it. That last bit made me worry about how responsive everything is.

If he was playing a demo he likely just wasn't used to the controls yet. All the previews I've read from video game sites say the controls feel nice.
Go try the free trial thing of one of the minecraft type indie games. Like Castle Miner Z. It'll give you at least a basic idea of how the controls will feel. It's actually not too bad.
The game comes out May 9th. You don't have to buy it right away, you can wait to see reviews, videos of other people playing, ask people who buy the game some questions, and finally you can download the trial and see how the game is for yourself.
