The achievements are too easy imo. They never mattered much to me anyway because I've accidentally reset them dozens of times on the PC while modding. At least I'll get a easy 400GS.

I'm hoping they take on editing them into consideration. Sure an easy 400 GS is nice but wouldn't earning a challenging achievement the people wouldn't get in the first minute of playing be nicer?
I do believe that the achievements are quite easy. I admit I love the thrill of going for the hardest achievements in a game but with Minecraft it's different. The achievements are just like the ones on PC. If you play it on Hardcore mode I bet I'll be a difficult time earning achievements. -JadeGaming also known as Mining4Faith

I am by no means a "Minecraft Expert" considering I only played the PC version at a friends house for about a day. If you take into consideration that the Xbox version is starting back at 1.6, these Achievements are a good starting point for new players. When the game gets updated to catch up with the PC version there will most likely be plenty of more challenging Achievements. It's just a matter of time.
Achievments don't matter much to me. Has nothing really do to with the game , and honestly its free easy gamerscore with this game what is there to complain about? Sure I like hard achievements but when you play a game just for the points it isn't fun anymore.
As much as I think they are easy it doesn't matter just easy gamescore. What is with the 60+ supporters? They are not going to change them, so stop bitchin
I like that it's the same as the PC, but i think it coulda used a few more harder ones. Like.. "Collect 50 diamonds" or "kill 500 creepers". Something that'd take a while and effort to get. The only one currently, I can see as being a problem, is the minecart one. Just because I don't really make minecarts, I'm not even entirely sure how they work(With the powered rails and stuff). I've never had much use for them. I tend to keep all my stuff within walking distance.

Nice opinion but I don't think it takes any fun away from an already fun game like Minecraft. Just think of it as another thing you can do on the game. If anything I think it would make Minecraft more ambitious.
Realize, that as MCX360 gets updated, it will gain many of the PC's achievements, which contained a couple difficult ones. For example, Into Fire, Local Brewery, The End?, and The End were pretty difficult, if I do say so myself.

Minecraft isn't a game meant for achievements anyways.
I wonder why they added achievements on minecraft then...
To give new players a sense of accomplishment and keep them coming back.....
