I don't like to purchase from the XBOX store if I can help it. Will there be a way to purchase an unlock code from Mojang or elsewhere?

I'm guessing, since it's on xbox, you'll have to buy it from xbox. Just like any other arcade or indie game.

okay, how is buying from the Arcade Marketplace a problem? you buy the points from a store, enter the points code on your xbox and use the 1600 MS points to get the game, no risk at all and if something goes wrong you call MS and complain every day until you get results

you can buy microsoft points at any walmart or gamestop or anything like that even cvs and stufff

why cant you just buy it at the xbox marketplace? what's the problem?

I don't think Microsoft will Distribute Codes for Minecraft that easy.

Actually I am pre-ordering mine at gamestop with 15 dollars on the bill so far, but you will still have to redeem your code on XBOX Marketplace.

Paypal??? Really??? are you old enough to have a debit/credit card? Most grocery stores have prepaid point and gold membership cards. It would be neat to give "gift" subscriptions like the PC version. I didn't know Gamestop could reserve arcade titles or are you slowly paying for MS points???? That's a new one on me, any more details???? BTW the best value is just purchasing MS point thru your xbox or on-line then download the game like usual
