I know that they're releasing an older version of MC for Xbox, but I was wondering if anyone knows how often they will update the game. Also do you guys know if they have any plans to bring the Xbox version up to speed with the PC version at some point??
IMO I would expect quarterly updates. Every 3 months new DLC and updates should be available. It only took like 2 years for an official PC version to come out so, a decent update every 3 months seems realistic IMO.......

I'm thinking if it took two years it should take about a year to be updated to whatever the current is then. If you take out the idea making and planning processes that have already been done for pc, it shouldn't take much time. All they really have to is replicate what had already been done. It took a long time to get to 1.6.6 on pc. 4J did it in a few months.
I wish they updated often (maybe every other week) and had an option to downgrade like the MCNostalgia addon. But that would probably be pretty difficult

I don't think downgrading would be possible. When an update is release Microsoft makes you play on the current version of any game to be able to connect to live. So I would say if you are worried about something when a new update is released then just hold off on updating until you have read about the fixes and new bugs that come with every update.
I think the updates are going to be free to a certain point. I am hoping they add mods as DLC, im dreaming... but if the technic guys are reading this, get working on that one. I would happily pay 3 bux for the technic pack.
Updates or Patches isn't on a set time. They can do it anytime they desire but if it is a huge update then I think they have a size limit of the update. I noticed this because most of my games will have 2 or 3 small updates a month.
How often they'll update has to do with the Arcade Game Policy. I think it's like once per month or something. I'm not 100% sure though.
