I heard it is up-scaled to 1080p because the system cannot handle full HD, but I may be wrong.
Okay, that makes sense because that is one of the reasons from what I remember of why the Wii U is special, since current consoles can't do 1080p properly.
Back on topic... it will also be nice to use a controller to play the game away from the computer since although I do like to play Minecraft with a mouse and keyboard, there is just nothing like sitting back, relaxing on a couch, and playing with a good old fashioned Xbox 360 controller of awesomeness!
Definitely being able to play multiplayer without pulling my hair out. Playing online one a 360 is FAR easier than on a PC. Setting up a server for the first time was the biggest pain in the butt and I don't care to ever do it again. Sticking with the Xbox 360 for good once it's out.

Most likely not. Unless Sony wants to pay Mojang alot of money, and I mean alot. Also that would be breaking thier contract with Microsoft . Not to mention the PS3 uses a different language all together so they would have to rewrite the game a second time just to work for the ps3. Way too much work. Oh and did I mention the ps3 has limited ram? Its a disaster that 4J would'nt even want to take on.

Normally I wouldn't be so sure. In this case though even after all of the things they must overcome to put this game on PS3 , Mojang has an exclusive contract with microsoft. This is the main reason why it will never go to PS3. This is like asking Sony to start making Legend of Zelda games. Its just not going to happen.

Yes. They have a exclusive contract. That's also like trying to get Bungie to make Halo games for PS3. Not going to happen. Sorry bro.(guy from before)
I enjoy the simplicity of the xbox. I'm also happy about the new crafting interface. Relaxing with beer, friends can play split screen with me. I can play with strangers by using the friends list. Everything like that.
