He does have somewhat of a point. The PC version has some advantages to the Xbox version in terms of features and controls (Heck, with a bit of work, you can even enable it to recognize an Xbox 360 controller as an input). It all goes down to personal preference, but again, the PC version does have some advantages.
Are you sure mods & texture packs are confirmed? I have heard about skins being in an update, but all I have heard about mods & texture packs on the Xbox is speculation & teasing by the developers. I don't think they've actually confirmed them.
Yes this has all been confirmed but will be implemented at a later rate.
I'm not so sure about mods and texture packs. Sure, Microsoft seems eager to accommodate 4J, but having things like mods actually being supported in a console game would be, as far as I know, a first. Don't get your hopes up.
First of all, I'm tired of hearing "Omg, The game's staying at 1.6.6?! Definatly not buying it now!"
It's been confirmed that They will update the game (at an unknown rate)
- There will be Skins
- There will be Mods
- There will be Texture Packs
(All Much later, but still)
It's Rumoured is that 4J will try to break the 8 Player Xbox Live limit and add more.
The only thing I could possibly let ANYONE complain about is that its starting at 1600 Microsoft Points, but then again you have 2 Months! to go and find 20$!!
Anyways, this is mainly towards the Derpy little kids that dont take time to Research, If you already knew all this: Cookies for you.
idiocy...... just accept the info you get with a grain of salt and stop bitching about it being false, weve been lied to before and we will be lied to again, if its true then great, if its not then who cares? to put it simply, stop feeding the trolls

your a little kid for not knwing how to reply directly to someone... (you pres quote)
And you just became a hypocrite by not realizing that he could be a newbie to forums, and calling someone a "little kid" while having several spelling errors.
I laughed when he said that. PC version doesn't even have in game chat. At least i won't have to use a 3rd party program to talk to other players. At least i wont have to search the forums to join players games on Xbox live.
I have no complaints. I know that the teams are doing their best on the 360 version, and who are we to get in their way? We should let them take their time. After all, they are doing it. If you think it is so bad, go make your own 360 version of your own game that you made and then come complain.

I find it wierd that people get angry when more people get the opportunity to play a game.. Maybe get a life ?
I find it weird when those people who have been presented with the opportunity to play a game, mock those who have been able to play it on a PC for years.
That to just dont understand the mentality around it.. why argue about something like that, it makes no sense. no wonder there is alot of sh** in this world.
I personally can't wait. My comp can't handle minecraft, so an XBOX version makes me very happy. I actually think Microsoft will add in Mod support simply bcause this game hs mod support. I think they did it for Dungeon Defenders too (not sure though, can't play that game with randoms because they all hack.) If they do, I will be greatly looking forward to a hinges mod on my castle, so as to alleviate the extreme difficulty of opening, closing, and locking and 30 block tall, 20 block wide set of double doors to a hinge and set of pistons on ach side to have collision physics to stop the door.

Source? All news about it has either been speculation or teasing. I have no memory of any developer directly confirming these features.
Thanks for the Cookies

That's along the lines of what I think. No one has confirmed either yet, and no one here has posted a source to anything that does confirm it.

Take your PC and shove it up your ass. lol
I'll be too busy laughing at Xbox users for having 6 year old hardware and their ignorance of the PC platform.
Got it on PC also, but prefer laxing on the couch with an handheld controller
Edit: I find it wierd that people get angry when more people get the opportunity to play a game.. Maybe get a life ?
