2. Split Screen is going to be cool because when my friends come over we can play together
3. Xbox live will make it to play with your friends online easier
4. I will be able to play it on my 76" inch LCD TV
5. Well based on reason 1 it doesn't lag.
1. My computer is awesome :]
2. My irl friends aren't great at MineCraft. One just enjoys making huge rooms underground for no reason and the other one just wanders around aimlessly.
3. None of my Xbox friends will have MineCraft most likely. And I could just find a server if I wanted to play with people.
4. I have my PC hooked up to my 32" HD TV. I only sit like 4 feet away from it though(small bedroom). So it might as well be massive ;]
5. It doesn't lag on my PC ;]
Honestly. If I get MineCraft for the 360 it'll be for the hell of it. I can hook my 360 controller up to my PC and basically have the same thing. Still seriously considering getting it. I just don't really have a reason to :/

5 Reasons why i'm getting it:
1. I don't game on PC(what is this, the 1980's? trollolloll), hence my laptop running Ubuntu does not play well with, oddly, only Minecraft.
2. 40 inch LCD is better along with 360 controls over keyboard and touchpad/mouse.
3. Splitscreen so me, my wife, and son can all play together! (Can't wait to let my kid play!)
4. XBL friends and IRL friends dig Minecraft but do not run it on a PC.
5. Vanilla has always been the best flavor. Simple, but delicious.
1. Xbox sucks
2. Xbox sucks
3. Xbox sucks
4. I actually have a good computer without shitty internet like most of you guys lol
5. I played Minecraft BEFORE it was Mainstream...
I smell a hipster over here - also, Minecraft isn't even "mainstream."

Well, it could be classified as such, considering that it has over 5 million copies sold and is now one of the most recognizable video games ever created. (Along with the fact that it had a friggin' CONVENTION to accompany it...) Not really an indie game anymore, unless you count "unusual, unique genre/style" as indie.
1. Because I like using a controller more than using a mouse.
2. Because my T.V. is waaay bigger than my laptop's screen.
3. So I won't have to worry about my W key and shift key breaking.
4. So my computer won't lock up when it rains.
5. So I can try to convert my Xbox friends to the glories of Minecraft!!!
Just out of curiosity; am I the only one who wishes they could punch people in the damn throat through the internet? Some of you people seriously make me want to kick babies.

Wait, so, I need XBLA to play it......my heart just sank into my stomach.
All you'll have to do is hook your Xbox up to the internet, purchase and download Minecraft, then you can play it offline.

I think its the fact that the trolls are constantly being fed, the goal is to starve and kill them or at least send them into dormancy
