I have been playing since alpha on pc, but because of my friends who either don't have, or have a crappy computer, I will get it on xbox too. Pocket edition is okay, just not great yet, maybe the next update when they add crafting. And the multiplayer experience will be simpler on the xbox, you get a lot more freedom on pc.
Well I have pocket edition and its okay but barley has anything updated yet. And I have Pc but my computers are crap and can barley run it. So I think ill get 360 plus I think the console controls will be pretty cool.
I'd rather have Xbox version, Because I can sit on the couch and be lazy. I also don't wanna pay $26.50 a month when on XBOX all I have to do is pay 15-20 dollars once. I also want spit screen. I play Total Miner. It's just like Minecraft with a few problems. 1 mob, non flowing water and lava, no day and night, and no body communication when in minecraft there's a bunch of mobs, flowing water and lava, and much, much more

I'd start with the PC, then when I have to get off play the PE once my dad realizes I played on Minecraft for four hours I'll sneak down stairs and play the Xbox edition for the rest of the day!

I'm not sure if I even want to hear what kind of explanation you can come up with for this kind of ignorance. Where in the goddamned WORLD did you see that? Does "$26.95" look like "pay a $26.95 subscription fee every month" to you?
Even then, no game would charge that much for a subscription fee. That's just plain ridiculous.

Most genres of games we play today have their roots in the PC platform. So no, it's not just stupid, it's how it originally was. If consoles were to become the only gaming platforms on the planet and eliminate computers from gaming purposes, they're going to have to beat them in the hardware race, which, unless new consoles were released every year with new parts or had their prices raised by a large margin because of the updated hardware, will never happen.
Not saying that console gaming is bad. Consoles have many advantages compared to PCs. But if you're going to say that computers shouldn't be used for gaming...well, look at the advantages PC gaming also has over consoles, and the huge community of PC gamers disagreeing with you.

I think they're both programmed in different languages, and the version won't be synchronized, so no. Although that could change in the future, they might just find a way.
I'm SSSSSOOOOOOOO happy that this has crafting, caves, animated sky, a lot different from pe. And since my dad works on the computer a lot and I have three other brothers it'll be fun playing on the couch with a lot larger screen. I don't even have a Xbox yet (the hole reason why I'm getting one!)
I would personally prefer it on the 3DS. I feel like it's the perfect platform for this game; has controls that are going to be way easier than an iPod's, has capability to save a bunch of maps on the SD card... I would have ported it there before the 360.
PC=Most developed minecraft, and more online options (only if you have a good computer :P)
Xbox 360=Easier to play with friends, splitscreen (up to 4 people at once!!), use of mics (PC can use skype)
